Who will be QB?

CWT says he will name a starter at QB this week. Who will it be?

I went with Steven Bench. Mike White is going to be here a while. His time will come. Bench has the most college football practice and experience under his belt and furthermore he brings mobility and option possibilities to the play calling. He seemed to be well ahead of Mike White in the spring and unless that's changed in the few weeks they've had of camp (I haven't paid attention) then I think Bench is probably the favorite.

 

Although part of me wanted to vote for "Won't name a QB this week"...just because that sort of thing seems to always happen in these situations.

I am thinking White then maybe Bench in Goal line situations ala Fisher

If it's been White why hasn't he announced and given all the first string reps to him?

I went with Bench.  He had a good spring and more of the playbook is available with him under center.

i wouldn't say that. 

From what I recall, practice reports in spring had White completing 70 percent of his passes regularly in spring ball. It just so happened that Bench was throwing to Davis/Dunkley/Welch in the spring game while White had Duval and Adams.

I vote white as well, however I bet we see both in action Aug 30th.
