It seems like a lot of people on here feel confident that White had this in the bag from the start. If that's the case, it's a shame that CWT wasted so many first team reps on Bench.

I think it will be Bench. White has been better in practice but it hasn't translated into game performance (spring). Bench not as good in practice but was much better in game (spring). I think the scrimmage on Saturday is the key to the starter and it will be announced on Monday, after CWT has time to review the "tapes".

Very astute point. CWT probably feels a bit snake bitten by the guy that performed well in practice but tanked in more pressure situations (Floyd). Not that White is Floyd, but it's probably Bench's only shot.

Didn't Bench also have the top 3 receivers for the spring game?

They both have their pros and cons but I think consistency may point to White being the starter.
