If last season showed anything, it's this: turnovers cost us games.

We can make a bowl if we hold on to the ball and play smart.

Defensively, we weren't too shabby, and I expect the same or better this season. And we have a great kicker, one of the best ever at USF.

So, it comes down to the offense. The offense either helps or hurts. Stop the turnovers and we go bowling!

Thanks for this unique insight. :/

OP has a good point...although I might say for us it's penalties. If we can stop the false starts and delay if games--and the personal fouls at times--I think we're playing smarter and TOs should be decreased as well. If penalties are still bad, TOs will be as well.

The offense will be better this year, it's nearly impossible to be worse.

Gotta eliminate all the needless penalties. They have been huge drive killers and seems like we are giving away the equivalent of about 2 full football fields away per game. Way too much to overcome.

My guess was INTs. QB play will determine our season.
