Football 1 stat that matters most this season

If last season showed anything, it's this: turnovers cost us games.

 

We can make a bowl if we hold on to the ball and play smart.

 

Defensively, we weren't too shabby, and I expect the same or better this season. And we have a great kicker, one of the best ever at USF.

 

So, it comes down to the offense. The offense either helps or hurts. Stop the turnovers and we go bowling!

Agree, but concerned about the Defensive line.  We lost a few starters and I haven't heard much about replacements other than we have some JUCO transfers who have a shot at starting.

I think the key this year is eliminating offensive giveaways and penalties on both sides of the ball.

Would like to see a team that does not beat itself. It's one thing to be beat by a better team, but giving a game away is awful.
