This last one proves that you can win today regardless of your conference. They are the first non-power conference team to win the title since UNLV in 1990. Is UConn better off staying in the American and dominating the conference, or moving to the ACC? They have a less stressful road to the tournament in the American, but they're missing out on a lot of that Power-5 money.

Louisville, UConn alone. Their players were all recruited to play in the Big East. They've won titles before this. The question is, where does UConn go in the next round of expansion (if it ever happens)

So far i've read articles saying: -UConn deserves to be in another conference -A writer actually crediting the BIG EAST with this victory, not The American -A couple of articles saying how Cinci and UConn were left out of realignment (none of them mention us) -The AAC was a mediocre basketball conference this year

The Atlantic 10 had 6 tourney teams this year. Do you consider it a power conference? There's no arugment that the AAC is a mid-major moving forward. Bunch of haters! There will always be discussion. The Big East was THE best basketball conference and was a **** good football conference when it came to bowl wins. It was shiz on constantly by the other 5.

And until we actually show we deserve to get some looks by the money conferences, we'll just be part of the crowd. I like our recent actions to get there, I'm sure our stock is at least getting to the "watch" category. Still much work to do before "buy". We had 5 good basketball teams, 1 decent team, and 4 terrible teams. Similar to a lot of "power conferences"
