USF to Make Announcement on Search for New Director of Athletics

TAMPA, Fla. (March 11, 2014) – University of South Florida System President Judy Genshaft will make an announcement on Tuesday regarding the search for a new Director of Athletics.

A press conference will begin at 3 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room inside USF’s Lee Roy Selmon Athletics Center.

A national search has been underway since Doug Woolard announced plans to retire on Jan. 16.

Funny way to do things.

USF has always handled communication issues in an amateurish way. Whether it is PR or marketing related.

I think this is one area, among many, that can be improved upon. By doing so would go a long way for improving visibility and interest in the community.
