Quite a few were on here complaining about Sheridan, saying it was a Sun Belt-level hire, iirc.  Let's hope CWT can bring in someone we will all be happy with - then I remember where I'm posting this.  :D

Blackwell would make the most sense for QB coach.

From what I understood, Coach Taggart was basically the OC during the games.

So he fired the OC over his own ****** results?

Wells was the OCINO ... also the OL coach.  Did a great job getting results, right?

Wow I didn't see this coming but I can see why it needed to happen.

Maybe this brings in Coach Weiner from Plant as the OC....? Or has that deal gone soft

Lulz

Nice.

No worse than the head OC and he probably makes $1 million less.

Willie is awesome.  I am comforted by his impatience with coaches and players. . . . . . . . right or wrong, it lets me know he cares.

Really have no opinions on this. On one hand it's surprising because coach has talked about his system and how he wants consistency, on the other hand, if your offense is 120th in the country, you almost have no choice but to evaluate and change.

I know what you're doing, and it's a foolish argument.

Do you by any chance work in the Cleveland Browns front office?

I've never been totally clear on what the division of labor was or is between CWT and the offensive coordinator position (formerly occupied by Walt Wells), but apparently whatever Wells was doing wasn't working.  The offensive line was also a disappointment. As for QBs/passing game, it was obviously horrific.  So these decisions make sense on that level.

Isn't Nick Sheridan the Bucs' defensive coordinator's son?  Interesting that they're both getting canned.  They will not have fond memories of Tampa.

IIRC CWT was interviewed in December and noted that he didn't expect any changes to staff in the off-season.  He must have changed his mind, or had his mind changed for him.  Excited at the possibilities...
