I started this thread pre-White, and Flowers for that matter. It's less of an issue now. I don't know if Ironside has any offers yet. He took a team into the playoffs last year, Wheeler, transferred and is taking this team into the playoffs with their only loss to perhaps the best team in the state, North Cobb. But that happens, the 49ers starting QB had one offer and it was after someone saw him play basketball. Lots of high schools, only ~120 teams.

An injury to white and you're back to bench/floyd. Recruiting qbs are a high priority,and I hope cwt can pull in a few good ones.

I'm afraid that doesn't matter. Now that Matt "Heisman" White has played one game, no another QB in recruit in the country will sign with us until he leaves to be the first pick in the NFL draft.

At least that's what I read on a message board somewhere...

This is our most likely scenerio. Definitely is something I'm a bit worried about.

Round 1 playoffs, total domination, beat Alcovy 41-13 away.  Alcovy almost win their region and was looking to rebound. Looks like they play Camden Co next. who beat Westlake. If they win that game they play the winner of N. Gwinnett and Archer game. N. Gwinnett is top seed in the state.

 

 

 

Cold, 50s and colder and rainy conditions tonight.

Still no offer..... I'm newish to this board and never followed recruits, but is this common? I don't how a player with his stats can be so ignored.... Is this common in high school?

High school stats are probably the least important aspect in recruitment.
