Very sad to see him go. I really hope that he's replaced with someone who knows the program as well as he did.

Promotion I'm guessing, covering the Bucs.

Is someone going to replace him, or is the usf beat going the way of the espn big east blog?

Greg Auman â€@gregauman 12m

Just a note to readers: After 9 years covering USF, I'm moving over next week to join Times' Bucs/NFL coverage. FAU game will be my last.

Wow. This is terrible for us; we are losing one of the best reporters to have ever covered USF sports.

Happy for Greg but what a huge loss.

Happy for Greg.  Bummer for us, I hope the coverage can remain nearly as good with whomever replaces him.

Congratulations to ya Greg! Loved following you for the past few years. Glad he's staying with one of the best papers in the country though.

Just when we thought our program could not get any lower.... demotion out of the big leagues, first Div 1-AA loss... first time 0 - 2 ever... players quitting on plays...

Now the worst news of them all. The best blogger in the business jumps ship. Oh man.

Congrats to Auman though... we will miss him.

Maybe he can take a Bull Grad under his wing and teach him the ropes. Would be nice to have one of our own in that slot. We certainly have many deserving candidates. wonder what happens with his AP vote?

Congrats to Greg and his family though.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
