Eh... McNeese, FAU, Memphis are games I'd be very pissed if we lost. The other 9 are either toss-ups or possible embarrassing losses.

Yup, I have us anywhere from 2–6 wins anything beyond that that and Taggart is the real deal.

 

We have lots of talent comming in...Got  good running back   Kennard Swanson etc.., our defense has all sorts of talent  good corners and better Lb  center was awfull last year.. and safety a new kicker in Adelman..

 

A couple of 300lb plus offensive  guards..  with Steven Bench I can see winning eight games and a bowl...

And dont be surprised if we wind up the giant killer and beat Michigan..

Feeling better about our chances overall....

Let White RS; put some meat on his bones and give him a full year learning the system and give him a shot to compete/push Bench in 2014

It always helps to have just one more round in the mag...or if that's offensive...one more tool on the belt.  I think we have about a hundred days until we see how this fares, but QB is something where you want both depth (obviously) and skill (starting), something that we have been concerned about. I don't know how much a player would get an emotional kick if they see competition at their spot. Surely, by the time they're in college, they have to understand that...given the number of players that exit every year because of playing time.

If I were to bet   the odds of him starting is about 1000%.

 

.Both Floyd and Eveld have had a shot at starting and they just did not do well...They can be backups....might have another position for them also . they deserve to play just don't see them as top QB material.

 

We also have Miller..and I thought he looked good in the spring game..

 

Redshirt White and let him get used to Collge ball..

I'd think Miller would be getting more snaps if he was doing better with the offense, don't you? The QB job was and still is wide open for the taking, however, right now CWT has identified 2 "first team" QB's in Floyd and Eveld. I'm sure he's seeing a lot more of them working than we are.

 

If Bench isn't our starter by fall, I'll be shocked.

There are at least three if not four scholarship QBs who will get snaps ahead of Miller. Good kid, but even among the walk-on QBs, Tommy Eveld was picked ahead of Miller in the spring draft. Whether he goes to preseason camp with USF has more to do with how many QBs Taggart wants to carry -- it may only be five. ...
