If Taggart is successful and were to take a job somewhere else in the long future I could see Marquel becoming our OC or HC in the future which would be awesome. One of the things I love about Taggart is bringing Blackwell with him. I'd love more former players coaching. Good way to build tradition.

With our situation at QB we need someone like MB. Even if our in again out again QB recruit decides to be in again, he would still be a work in progress. There is a a huge difference between being a HD QB and Div. 1 college QB.

Home run for the Bulls, IMO. The draw of choosing in his hometown outmatched the draw of bigger jobs. Intriguing verb tense there ... I like it... Grew up not far from USF, but other schools high on him too.

The only things I like about Taggart is his youth, his attitude, and the fact he would be very, very, very, very cheap to hire... did I mention he would be cheap. Just to add Bubba.....I think you are leaving out his main attribute as it pertains to USF. His recruiting. Of the list of all the available coaches.....he would probably have the biggest IMMEDIATE impact in recruiting for USF. Now that is not to say, these other coaches couldn't come in and build good relationships and become good recruiters also....but the MAIN reason people are talking about Taggart is that he already has a relationship from both his playing days and coaching with all of the area HS coaches. He does have some good recruiting abilities in Florida... but out of all the candidates Quinn and Davis has the best recruiting avenues in the State. But Taggart would easily be much more excited about being the HC of USF. He'd do a better job selling USF because he would believe in USF. A guy like Davis would never believe USF is a destination.
