Who's going to take us? if the ACC/SEC/Big12 wanted us, they would have... lets face it, we need to make the BE work for the short/long-term till this whole wheel moves again...

So much for the fastest growing program ever...that dream just died. We just got set back 7 years. Only hope is to pray one of those others will take us.

I believe in the team considering our competition is soon going to be replaced by a bunch of teams we'll annihilate. Has UCF ever beaten us? NO We're getting ****** in the ass after the effort and hard work eveyone's put into this program. It'll get better hopefully it's just a MAJOR set back.

you cant deny it will be one of our most intense games of the year every year.

so what if they get a little bit better cause of it.  obviously if you havent noticed 50% of the country thinks we are the same school anyways

This is the worst possible outcome

Wouldn' t it be funny if ND decided to finally join the Big East full time and NBC thru some money at the Big East (keep in mind that Versus is owned by NBC and getting rebranded into NBC Sports Channel so they would be a 24/hr sports channel that would be able to show Thurs/Fri night games as well)

Pitt and Cuse would be punching themselves in the junk.

Fact is- ND is going to have to join a conference in football now.  As these conferences get bigger and bigger they aren't going to be able to schedule as big OOC games.  Obviously ND's WHOLE schedule is OOC games. 

Pretty interesting option.  ND commits for football and we don't expand further.  Stay at 8 teams so we can still have 5 OOC games to keep ND happy plus they negotiate a BE deal with NBC/Universal with basketball as a big part of the revenue.  BE passes outrageous exit terms so the conference stays at 15 teams for a while.  Would never lose AQ with ND/WVU/TCU/USF as half of the football conference.

Nothing is certain till OU pledges to stay in the Big 12.  The Pac is still voting on expansion later this week.

Whay do people want Central Florida out of the Big East?  I always thought they should be on our schedule anyway.  What other school can we beat 64-12 every season?
