Actually, that would equal over 40K...right about where we expected it to be.

26K + 12,501 = 38,501 + 2K walkups = 40,501.

Announced will be in the low 40s.

I've talked to some non-alumni fans who are still very upset about the firing of Leavitt and didn't plan on renewing their tickets for now.

Hopefully time will heal all wounds.

I was doing mine as an actual amount...I realize it adds up to around 40.  ;)

And I'd be disappointed in only 8,000 students. Anyone remember how full the student section was last year for Charleston Southern? I realize it's Stony Brook, but we won't have another home game until the 25th.

The son of a legendary football coach takes over your team and you boycott because the other guy got fired, wow i guess they aren't true USF fans so they can piss off.

agreed

and BTW the students will show up. i have faith in them and will give the students of my alma mater the benefit of the doubt. i have also been to a few parties lately around campus and school pride is in full swing. green and gold everywhere.

This aint CUSA days. We'll have in the mid 40s and I know the student section will represent. They have done it for 2 straight seasons. Why stop now?
