You could have a player who doesn't want to stay on the team, hates the coach, and will not do their best or undermine the team.  And they have to stay so they poison the rest of the team.

I'd like to see that idea fleshed out, though.

you could suspend them from all team activities or move them to some sort of designation similar to the medical scholarship when guys can't play anymore.

Look how many top QBs are on the move again. guy from oregon state, guy from ohio state, ucf's old qb that went to oklahoma is on the move again. it will be free agency every year if they don't come up with some solution.

There are few people on this planet I despise as much as Rick Scott, so I can't imagine this guy would make the cut

Uh... this could have a bigger impact on basketball than football right now.

The NCAA is expected to appeal, and the next hearing has been set for Dec. 27. But for now, the NCAA is standing down on the issue. "As a result of today's decision impacting Division I student-athletes, the Association will not enforce the year in residency requirement for multiple-time transfers and will begin notifying member schools," the NCAA said in a statement.

Can politicians focus? Fix the roads and bridges, build a school or library, or do something that could be construed as being productive for society. Instead they keep trying to score brownie points by doing these diversionary moves.

Thought this was a ruling by a judge?
