Memphis has some weaknesses and I still think we lose.   I hope Golesh and the coaches have some aces left in their hand and come our swinging.  If we can pull off the upset this will be some serious bring some serious swagger to the team.

Hopefully we get a little more healthy,  have a few trick plays we saved up, the defense improves,  the receivers  break step up, and Brown has a huge game.

Yep can’t have a stinker after having two weeks to prepare. How about just tackle on defense. That’s a step in the right direction.

Hoping we are using the 2 weeks for more options (pun intended) on offense.  We need speed and it would help to have plays running in different directions to open up all the vertical plays we like to

Would be cool to see us come out and play a complete game and upset one of the top conference teams.  I don’t like basing our bowl chances on the idea that we “should be able to beat temple and charlotte.”

I'm not sure Memphis' near collapse last Saturday against North Texas is helpful to our cause.  I suspect the Tigers' coaching staff to have field day with that game film.  I just hope our shade of green is meaner this week (e.g., leave the slime at home).

This will not be easy.

We upset Rice and Navy but the lines were more like 2 or 3

There aspects of even the UConn game that were purely ugly, add to that the prior 2 weeks

Not saying it can't happen but it's gonna take a really solid 60 minutes of foosball

Memphis is the type of team that we will have to be able to compete with for an AAC championship starting next year. This week's game against them will be a great measuring point for us regarding where we are in comparison to the elite teams of the AAC.

I don't expect us to win, but at the same time I don't want to see UAB, FAU style blow outs. I want to see improvement.

Id love to see this team win one of these games vs either Memphis or UTSA.

Sort of like back in 06 when program was lost big vs UL but bounced back and beat WVU on the road and was showing a glimpse of things to come with a freshmen Grothe.

Maybe we see some freshmen make an impact would be nice.
