There was not a question about what constituted the bulk of our success, and how that was defined, but you did a great job still.

I prefer to look at some quantitative data to see if the new C-USA teams really are stronger than Cincinnati, UCF, and Houston. Do you have that handy?

You should ask that to whoever gave you that idea ...

Edit for clarification: This conversation is pertaining the other Fall sports, not football ...

I will have to say that Cincy is going back to being known as Cindy. They will never be the same after Finkel left for Wisconsin. We are going to see the low fan support at Nippert once again. UCIF won’t be recovering from their 35-7 choke against Baylor this season. They will probably need an entire new coaching staff to shake that game off. Houston has terrible fan support and they are back to sucking. AAC didn’t lose much imo

But all 3 of those teams will be gettin' paid regardless.

Losing was not so bad as the way we lost. CAG has already lost these kids. They quit in that game.

If that's CAG really does need to overhaul this team and FAST.

His presser was kind of a let down. He said they were going to simplify the offensive playbook so they can play faster...  The offense is already too predictable. It is going to be interesting how this plays out over the season.

I don't know how you can listen to his presser and not believe that he'll get this team turned around within a year or two

It will be interesting to see what adjustments are made. The fast play has lead to turnovers, and is putting unecessary pressure on the defense. The offense has been vanilla, so making it more vanilla would not be the answer. How this team reacts this weekend after the last two weeks will tell me everything i need to know about Golesh as a head coach.

Maybe he thinks this is a Disney movie?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
