Power5 is what I value over Aau because I want usf to be a top 25 program in football. Now is the ACC cares about asu status invite usf and ND in asap( highly unlikely). We are familar with besting miami, Clemson, ND and Fsu. Sometimes you need to go back to what works to make usf successful . The further we distance  ourselves from UCF the better. We rolled out the red carpet  and allowed them to jump usf in sports.

You have to stack the wins where you can and when you can.  This will all add up with the athletic investment.

Was thinking about this. We should just focus on a Miami rivalry moving forward

Both AAU schools with similar emphasis on the med schools, both cities have a similar food culture, both fanbases understand the struggle of playing in a huge NFL stadium far from campus. Our helmet logos are pretty similar to make for cool graphics. 2 biggest media markets in the state.

We already play them in 2024, 2025, and 2028. After that there will be 9 total matchups and they'll be one of the teams we've played the most in our history

AAU without a doubt.

an educated workforce is far better for our community than an athletics program.

it brings better jobs, higher pay, etc.

I mentioned before, my freshman American History professor introduced his class to that term (40+ years ago), smirking and chuckling of course.  I’m very happy with the AAU designation.  Now, we need to decide if athletics is really our thing.  It hasn’t appeared so, lately.

If we had decided Athletics wasn't "really our thing", Chuck and CBG would still be here. We'd have renewed our lease with RayJay and practices would still be shutting down with afternoon thunderstorms ....... Don't be one of those guys.

AAU all day. It may take another 10-20 years to go P5 as things develop. Just relax and be patient, it will eventually happen.

Troll.

Floating along or firing some failures doesn't mean we've made the decision that Athletics is really our thing.

Correct!

It's the best sign in a decade....now we need to follow up on it.

*****, you've really become jaded. Not sure what else they can do at this point in time. "Floating along" is the opposite of what they've been doing.
