B12 money and opportunities are still far better than the aac.

I’m with Triple B. This is definitely my take. The Big XII does nothing for me as a fan and the PAC 12 makes zero sense. I’ve always felt the ACC is where we eventually belong. Playing schools - and aligning with them academically - in Carolina and Virginia seems much more compelling to me than schools in Kansas, Iowa and Texas.

Big 12 is still a **** ton more money and I like it only for selfish reasons, PAC 10 would be ridiculous IMO.

I would prefer ACC as well, but as to the point that the Big 12 wouldn't make sense regionally; while in the AAC we are already playing a bunch of schools from Texas and beyond . Just instead of playing Nort Texas, Rice, UTSA, Tulsa, we would be playing Oklahoma State, TCU, Kansas State, Texas Tech, houston... Also distance wise there is not much difference between playing West Virginia versus Temple; except games against West Virginia is much better draw, and would be much more exciting.

Lastly, while the following might not be a popular opinion, but I would rather have a rivalry with UCF then FAU.

Big 12  still having trouble with bringing in other P5 schools. Looks like they may bring in Gonzaga & UConn for basketball only. Kansas must be forcing the issue or threatening to leave…

I'm gonna say AAU only because the current state of our football program is pretty bad. We're not really P5 competitive. 

Also, there is only one other public university in the state of Florida that is a member of the AAU, and we're now one of them.
