First I heard about this was today on Twitter after our game.. It appears we have a guy named Brandon Kaiser working for/ with us who is a Grand Canyon University graduate. He claims to have built the GCU Havocs (student section) and has now created a company to help other universities do the same. It seems as though he may be coordinating with students on campus and getting them to the games in addition to other ideas to help improve attendance. He may have created the new SoFlo Rodeo stuff that's on the t-shirts.

Has this been discussed here? Anyone know anything else about it?

I think it's a fantastic idea and am excited to see if it'll succeed in the long run. Anything to improve student attendance and engagement!

Fan culture has to come before winning - didn’t you learn anything from CJS?😁

I’m glad they are doing everything possible to get students there. It creates a good atmosphere and will just blow up if we win.

Well this sure has worked for the last couple games.  Hopefully, they're retained for football season too.  It would be great to see students once again up into the 200 level corners.

GO BULLS!

Players specifically mentioned the atmosphere yesterday and feeding off of it. Obviously a little different than other games but there was good student section for Cincy too but they weren't really given a chance to get into it. Winning helps but it's going to take a combination of that and reaching out to them ....

During his Alumni tours when Dan Mullen was hired as head coach a UF, he had a story about this kid they didn't really need to try to hard to recruit.  Talked about how this kid from Jacksonville showed up to a game and loved the atmosphere and how he got a ball from a player.  Blah blah, that kid became their third Heisman winner.

The point is, it all goes together.  And it is kind of a chicken and egg thing.  Yes, win and people show up.  But you still need create an atmosphere athletes want to win in.

Same goes with how out of control NIL is... we won't have a great NIL unless we win, but it will be hard to attract athletes without a good NIL.

I like that they're trying to do something, and realizing that what they have been doing hasn't been working, and are open to getting help.
