Yes how does the NCAA define a power conference?

In our case this means Big 12 or ACC. That has to be the goal so I am glad that's included in the contract.

How much per FBS win?  We would have saved a lot on that under the prior contract.

So, it's almost like saying an IPF won't do it, and an OCS won't do it, an increased Athletics staff won't do it. A beautiful Tampa Bay won't do it.

But if CAG can do it, what the hell's another $million?

If he is still the coach after the Spring Game, does he get an extension?

They don't.  The power conference term is a made-up term, not made by the NCAA, but by media and others.

The NCAA calls them autonomy conferences.  And there are currently 5 conferences that are autonomous.

If the AAC ever became an autonomous conference, then they probably would be considered a power conference.  Aresco was supposedly working on this, but I doubt he got anywhere.

Don't knock it. Kansas once counted their Spring game as a win in their record.

The Jayhawks start 2013 on a one-game winning streak! Or at least half of the Jayhawks do.
