19 years in the business. Eight, I think, different schools. I guess eight different groups of coaches at those schools. HCAG should have plenty of ideas on what coaches to bring in. He should, IMO, know what kind of defense can stop his offense. Find that guy that has worked in that defense.

So I see two guys on the Tennessee roster that have ties to USF or Florida that could be possible moves as DC here.

Brian Jean St- Mary, he is their LB coach and was our DC under Strong, has ties to Florida for recruiting

Willie Martinez- CB coach, played at UM, coached at UM,UCF, was Georgia DC 2005-09

Dont mind getting Jean Mary as the DC. Assistants are important though for development, glad Golesh has been around and has a network of guys to reach out to.

Scott hired a graduate assistant at Clemson as DL coach and *shocker shocker* we ended up not having any development at that position in his tenure. I want real coaches, not former big name players trying to get their first chance coaching

To me this should be what we focus on next. We MUST get a DC with some experience who’s aggressive and can recruit Florida. We need to also recruit players on defense who actually want to tackle someone.

Defense wins championships.

BJM has been here before and knows what he's walking into, I doubt he leaves Tennessee to try it again.

Why not. More money, higher position. The way our defense looked past three years, he could improve it dramatically and be up for bigger jobs.
