BJM has been here before and knows what he's walking into, I doubt he leaves Tennessee to try it again.

Exactly. I would be surprised if he came back.

He had success when he was here. I don't see why he wouldn't want a promotion to a DC in a state that he loves. If he does well again, he is definitely looking at a head coach position.

Why not. More money, higher position. The way our defense looked past three years, he could improve it dramatically and be up for bigger jobs.

or if he stays where he is and continues to improve, he gets a DC at a P5 school.  All I'm saying is he knows what he has at Tennessee while here it is an unknown which he has all ready done and been fired.

One of his most important hires will be S&C coach.  These coaches spend the most time with the players throughout the year.  Our current S&C coach came from Tennessee and didn’t impress to say the least.  We have been woefully undersized for awhile and what’s up with all the injuries.  If he  nails the hire of S&C coach and DC, he’ll set himself up for success, if not, see Scott Jeff.

He got fired when new coach came in. He knows he would have at least three years here and not hard to improve our numbers plus more money.

He might come ornot, but the truth is that our DC position is an upgrade from what he has.

We shall see what happens

Dont mind getting Jean Mary as the DC. Assistants are important though for development, glad Golesh has been around and has a network of guys to reach out to.

Scott hired a graduate assistant at Clemson as DL coach and *shocker shocker* we ended up not having any development at that position in his tenure. I want real coaches, not former big name players trying to get their first chance coaching

Yep.

And he made adjustments to help that how? He coached horrible angles to the ball, IMO had players out of position too many times, and zero fundamentals in tackling.

None he was stuck in his ways and schemes.

I thought he was about to announce it right there on stage! I was waiting for it, but then he said "I'm sure it'll be announced today."
