How about one that fits more of the context of a Gruden-like NFL career?

I guess Pete Carroll would be the closest with his 4 seasons before going to SC. 
Idk, just can’t see someone who’s coaching career has been in NFL world being able to transition well into the nuances that college football requires.

VPMK didn’t completely dismiss the Gruden discussion so that means 6 more weeks of Gruden rumors

In all fairness to Patrick not being more alert he did sound to be just past the verge of death, which did make a nice juxtaposition to CDDP’s youthful sounding exuberance
