Ill be happy with a 10-12 sacks for 2022. My standards aren't high. Edited November 22, 2021 by Gatorbull325

A good DC can get more out of a less talented unit. The gap between how talented a team is and how they perform is on coaching. While this defense isn't the most talented, I refuse to believe it's bottom 10 in FBS. Our defense is greatly underperforming relative to its talent.

I predict some position coordinator at a big school. Thats the safer play.

He grew up on the Space Coast and he may like where he's at. Most likely a family and set some roots. Have no idea of his priorities. I do think he's done very well in his young career. That's twice I've read the word "retread" as it relates to Spencer or other potential college coaches. Say what you might about Spencer but he did enjoy years of success at other colleges just not consistent here- he isn't the first. Some of these coaches dont dazzle at some schools but at others they do just fine and create winners. Most have more football coaching talent/experience in their left nut than the folks dishing out the nastiness. Coaches know they keep producing and winning they keep their paychecks. If not, they know it's the highway. +100%
