Iowa State and Kansas seemingly fit into the Big Ten well but have been shot down. While the talks did not seem serious, there was at least an attempt.

We don’t want ISU either, so they can join the Pac12 or new version of the WAC or whatever pops up in that part of the nation

Navy might look at the $$$ compared to the AAC $. I think reading a while back, that Navy didn't want another service acad in their conference they wanted to keep the games separate so they could maintain rivalries, dates and tv coverage.

It makes their scheduling a lot easier when they know who 3 of their games will be against every season (Air Force, Notre Dame until at least 2032, and Army). That only leaves them only one date to schedule each season. Their AD has the easiest job in sports!

pac 12 isnt taking isu
