The whole thing is just nonsense. We all know it’s heading for four “super” conferences that will be college sports, so let’s just get it over with already. SEC, ACC, Big Ten, PAC 12 - make your 20 picks, set up your divisions and let’s finish this charade.

One of Louisville's most spirited rivalries from their time in the Big East could make a comeback via conference realignment.

Every team in the Big 12 is working on an escape route.  There is no doubt that not a single team in that conference is thinking about forming an American Athletic Conference II.  Just GET OUT!  It will be an interesting week to see who gets picked up and who does not.

I assume Mr. Kelly is capitalizing on the moment to be sure any conference considering picking the meat off the bone in the B12 knows USF is available and may offer more long term.

It's every man for himself as usual.  We missed on that last time around, hopefully not this time.

When the B12 leftovers are clear, then we'll see the pieces being picked up by the P6/G5...

Good points however, I am concerned that the left overs might be past their sell date.  Yet, it could be an upgrade for the AAC.

We can only hope that the P4 chooses to over expand, 16-20 teams.  I don’t think they will. I think the SEC might in order to meet ESPN’s demand.

Forming their own league:

Jack McGuire — who writes for Barstool Sports and is a producer on the popular Unnecessary Roughness college football podcast — is reporting that the Southeastern Conference is in “serious contact” with Michigan and Ohio State about joining the league. He added that he is unaware of whether or not this could actually happen but that there is at least interest from the SEC to poach two of the Big Ten’s biggest programs.”

Could you picture a Big Ten that doesn’t include Michigan and Ohio State? That...

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”
