I think this only works if the Leftovers lose a few more members. Then the AAC could go to them with an ESPN deal and merge under the Big12 banner.

Yea I think they should.  

I'm sure other P5 conferences will pick off more teams..how many is the question.

Houston as a possibility to PAC12+ in a USAToday article.  Not worth pasting the whole thing, but it's mostly about getting OSU and TT out of the Big12 and into the Pac12+.
