This game could feel a lot different with that trick play and the 4th and 2 missed tackle. This team has shown flashes of talent. The defense just isn't that good. We will improve throughout the year.

Regardless what happens the rest of the way, this is promising. The coaches adjusted and the players never quit. It was easy to come out of the half and go through the motions, but that hasn't happened.

Agreed ... Just want to see CJS take some more risks.  Some of these decisions have me remembering the Holtz New Era.

We can definitely be competitive in the AAC this year with McClain.

I love the fact we didn't quit.
