Except when he first tried to implement a Power I, ground and pound, three yards and a cloud of dust offense.  White would have fit in that.  He completely lucked out with Q.

I can’t believe how bad Fortin sucked! And Jeff Scott thought this clown was a starter???

in 4th quarter he was 4 of 10 for 10 yards! Jeff Scott sucks at evaluating talent!

I still don’t know why you put fortin back in down 38-0 especially when he was 4-10 for 10 yards. Either let McClain finish the game or put in marsh or Williams

I’d say that’s unfair to CJS. In all fairness it doesn’t stand out any worse than the way he has failed in every other aspect of his job.

That was last year. This year we kept hearing of the strides Fortin has made and that he was the clear cut best QB. That decision is ominous for the decision making ability of our coaching staff. It hurt watching that inept offense. 

 

At least the defense had flashes of competence. I saw none on the offensive side.  Our punter might be our best player.

McClain is the future. Start him every game and have him practice with the first team from here on, no question.

He looked good for a true freshman, hopefully he will grow and learn to protect the ball.

Between him and Horn, you can definitely see the new talent coming in is in the right direction.
