If we move down to FCS we can make that claim again.

Or we can go to D3 and claim the same thing and not have to provide any scholarships at all!

Cheat really well and don't get caught.  It is a recipe that has worked well for many big name programs.

Him and that other dude were great recruiters at Clemson.  Yes I know its Clemson at not USF.  But he didnt forget how to recruit overnight.  We are going to be at a disadvantage until the IPF is built.  Still waiting for that dang announcement btw.

Im not concerned about getting the most of out of recruiting from CJS.  He has been trained well.  He knows what he is doing.

On that note ,  would love to see Flowers be on Taggart’s teams as a coach.

Don’t think he has the right attitude to be a coach

Thats a name Id like to forget.

I think the CJS situation is a little different.  He came to Clemson when they were just an average team.  Kentucky has always been Kentucky.

Anyway, time will if he can recruit USF.  Much tougher job.

Clemson has always been the class of the ACC going back to the late 70's. Their down years were short lived - definitely a program that has reloaded over the years.

Always?  Until recently FSU might disagree.

I recall USF beating them in a bowl game.  Wasnt that about the same time CJS joined the program.

Yeah, those "Tommy" years weren't great but since 1977 they have only had 3 losing seasons and finished the season ranked in 27 times over that time frame. I'll go back and look at how many times they finished in the Top 3 in conference.

I have family that went to Clemson and have a friend of mine who started on their 1980 national championship team, so Clemson was my favorite program until USF started football.

Ive grown to like Clemson recently with these matchups against Alabama.

They are a good program but they only have been dominant good lately.

CJS seems alot smarter than Antiqua.  Im not worried about whether he can recruit to USF just yet.  Alot of Florida talent to go around.  He is just now building those relationships and in the era of Covid, everything moves in slow motion.  In fact this whole year feels like one big acid trip.
