Not going to be hired at USF.

I would go further than some support. It is looking like there is a lot of support. However, this hire is up to MK. It won’t matter what we want as it will ultimately be MK’s decision that will either help his USF career or hurt it. In MK we trust! Go Bulls!

No retreads. No apologies. No lipstick on pigs. I think this is a case of using the words 'possible' and 'probable' interchangeably. This board just loves, loves, loves 'the good ole days' and how phenomenally great and wonderful Jim was. But, there's been a whole lotta water under the bridge since he was cut loose. I've not kept my thumb on the pulse of this, as some have, but has Jim Leavitt, in 2019, expressed a documented interest in returning to USF? 

And just because contracts can be modified by our razor-sharp legal staff...well...that's not necessarily an enticement,  now is it? But this is 'murika and we all have the god given right to wallow in our fantasies until the cows come home.

Yes! And I would also say it is MK’s job to get support for USF athletics.  So I’m sure bringing in CJL would bring back support and most of all make it right. Let’s face it, USF made one of their biggest mistakes in their athletics history by firing the guy who made USF football. They thought they were gonna find someone that could win more but they struck out. Three strikes ( Holtz, Taggart, and Strong) so the next batter better hit a home run

Supposedly yes, according to FootballScoop and the fact that Kelly has communicated with him this calendar year.

It's still a long shot.  It's the kind of move that makes you a hero and/or a loser.  Me....
