He can go a lot of places. I am sure he is interviewing for some of those open job positions.

Pay him $1 per year for 3 years. Let FSU pay him to coach us. Get back to recruiting this area and winning.

After all, didnt we offer him the same if not more money than Oregon? If he wins then well fine all things are forgiven. we didn't offer him close to what Oregon did. In the end we were paying Strong more per year than what Oregon paid him.

Zero conference championships played for. .... but yet, some are acting like CWT was our savior. I just don’t get it. We can do better. he was our savior. he took a program that was burnt to the ground (had to start Matt Floyd in his first game) and turned them into an 11-2 team.

Rebuilds take time. To paraphrase a famous quote from TBP long ago, you can't just go through the drive-thru at McDonald's and get a winning team in a few minutes. Successful at the first two, one of them being USF, had a winning season at Oregon then got a chance in a lifetime to coach his favorite boyhood team. It sucks that said team didn't give him a full chance. He has a template, it's pretty easy to see and FSU ignored it because they're too impatient. ally sad how people parrIt's reot his bowl record. So he had the critical misfortune to turn around a team and get rewarded for it before he could coach more than one. I'm sure he's sorry some of you hate him for that. Guess what - we need him to do what he has proven to be good at. I have no problem with him coming back here if he really wants it and it makes sense, $-wise. I think a good # of you need to look in the mirror and legit ask yourself if you wouldn't do the same thing he has done. I do not trust many on this board to be honest about it though. he has as many bowl wins as Nick Saban did at his age.

Taggart recruited and built an offense around a kid that nobody in the country offered as a QB. same thing Leavitt did with grothe (and BJ Daniels) Strong hired a dirty Clint Hurtt so he would bring the #1 rated high school QB with him. When he gets a broken team fixed up and settles down with them for the long haul, he'll win bowl games. When you take on rebuild jobs you generally tend to have some bad records and non-bowl appearances built in. People who are willing to consider facts beyond paper understand this.
