This is only kind of related to the topic.  A few years ago we went to a Reno Aces game and got to sit in the President's box (our friends were with the Pres of MinorLB).  Their expected amount of $$$ spent at the game was around $12/person coming in.  This thread has been tough to digest over a number of days but did someone suggest that UCF was expecting $70/person?  Or did that include ticket price?

$70/person seems extreme.  I take a $20 out at the atm and once that is done, we are done.

Actually, the poster was suggesting right around $100 per game per ATTENDEE (including the cost of the tickets), including students that don't pay for their tickets. The NY Yankees generate about $54 per attendee, including the cost of the game ticket.

Actually, you ARE the one making the assertions until you provide sources ..... and telling someone to Google it isn't how that works on here.

The table I posted above indicates that UCF receives about $3.5 million annually in revenues.  After expenses, they netted $1.2 million in 2017 which goes to the debt service on the stadium.

Bianchi posts some B.S. numbers in an opinion column in the Slantenal and you take it as gospel? The numbers absolutely do not add up. There is nothing anywhere to support an assertion that UCF "makes" $3 to $4 million per home game.  If you are going to come on here and dispute actual numbers, you have to be prepared to back it up.

Maybe they identify as a stadium making $4 million a game and just because any and all facts point to their feelings not being correct does not mean people can diminish their feelings with hate numbers.

We know they identify as a Power 5 program and National Champs. Unfortunately for them, reality doesn't hold that up. I can't wait for them to crash back down to Earth. Their diluted fan base is acting as if they will never have a losing season again. I'm just sitting back and waiting for the inevitable collapse.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
