Yeah, and we shouldn't have had such weak-willed and self-interested, incompetent leadership that thought it was better to take a  fabricated story by a terminated reporter and a aggrieved player and use it as a guillotine in order to please themselves and others.

With enough wrong on BOTH sides, it might be best to show some humility and put it behind us by openly addressing it.

What would you like addressed?  He was terminated.  Ten years ago.

It took me a while to get over the fraud that was the investigation and the shameful actions and lies about the person that started this program.  I bounced back and have remained a supporter.  There are several that never came back, whose own moral character doesn't allow them.  It would just be the decent thing to do, to repair that harm.  Move forward together united as the marketing campaign tried to address a few years ago.  The day that wrong is properly addressed will be a great day for USF Athletics.  Jim probably holds the hearts of more fans - even though it was nearly ten years ago - than Charlie, Michael or anyone else on Fowler.

**** Son , preach it!

Easy for somebody who wasn't a fan of the program at time he was here to say. Some of us will never move on until CJL is shown the respect he earned. What he did here was unprecedented. And the way he was forced out should never be forgotten until its righted.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

    Michael Kelly
