I met Jim Leavitt numerous times. I ate with him in the Fontana dining area numerous times in 1996 and 1997, when the football players were based out of Fontana. Leavitt was truly an amazing person. H

Firing Jim was wrong and based on lies. It was a smear campaign against him.

I thought this was know here on the Bulls pen among those who were fans prior to his termination.

Man I understand that maybe the university wanted to move on and perhaps rightfully so, but that investigation was a farce. It made it worse that CJL had to go and improperly influence witnesses when he shouldve just cooperated. Who knows what wouldve happened.

Jim Leavitt's first hire as an assistant coach... Kevin Patrick.

People deserve second chances. Still find it funny people deny he hit Joel in the face. Football is an emotional game and Leavitt is about as emotional as one gets from moment to moment. If I'm attempting to hit max weight on a lift, I want Leavitt spotting me as I know he'll set me off, allowing me to get through that brick wall. If I'm attempting to run a marathon, probably not the guy I want as a running partner. I'll be out of gas by mile four with him beside me.  We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.
