Yeah but he allegedly hit a plyer too. ?

He also allegedly uttered the statement referring to himself as the “most powerful man in the building”. that turned out to be a lie, too.  Sort of invalidates the “story” being told; it lacked credibility, especially when you toss in a fired and vindictive Brett McMurphy and the untrustworthy Miller family.

Wow did not know that.  Also, even if it were true, I think anyone could say anything if they were getting railroaded.  It's a human thing, which happens sometimes when humans react to things.

Powers that be, or were, knew that would be a certain trigger to turn people against him.  And it did.  Or, as criticized back then, the administration was to intent on believing some accounts but not all, they chose what to believe.  Half assed operation that still haunts the program.

How many national championships do you think we have if CJL wasn't fired?

Not sure if I can find the posts on here, but I recall picking apart the sham of a report following the investigation and posting my thoughts/findings. I will see if I can dig it up.

My personal favorite part of the shammockery of an investigation is we were trying to protect the team but then we couldn’t even manage to take the time and effort to properly make a pdf and the witnesses were unmasked in a matter of minutes.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
