Record in is season is 2,911 by Flowers last season and Grothe in 2008. Expecting Barnett to top 3,000 easily this season with the talent at WR/TE. Go BULLS !!! Edited September 16, 2018 by E.T. He is not yet completely settled in. But QF had games with 8 or 10 incompletions into the dirt in a row. BB looks great so far. BB hasn’t broken anyone’s ankles thus far. 7 minutes ago, El_Toro_86 said: At 6’5” he has 4 batted balls in one game. What’s up with that? 3/4 motion? Hasn't killed many worms either. Not saying that BB is better (way too early), just saying that when BB is bad he isn't nearly as bad as QF when he was bad. He's still growing and getting back into a comfort zone with every game. He had some issues trying too hard against Illinois for 3 quarters instead of letting the game come to him. He was needlessly forcing the ball with that cannon of his into coverage and needlessly throwing rockets for throws that needed touch. In the 4th quarter he settled down more, took what the defense gave him, and started putting more touch on his throws. That jump ball to Salomon was beautiful and thrown with the perfect amount of touch. He made multiple throws on those late drives that he was throwing way too hard in the 1st 3 quarters with perfect touch late in the game. He's still yet to play a complete game and when he does this offense will explode like the 2015 Cincinnati game.... Literally a perfect post and assessment here by Bull Dozer. I agree with every bit of it. The young man still needs game experience (a lot of it). He clearly has a massive amount of God given talent and tools. I will add that any conversation about his draft status at this point is wildly premature. Let’s enjoy watching him and the team grow.

I’ve never experienced a USF team that has this much will to win when down in the 4th quarter (I’ve only been a fan since 2011). QF had the heart and the will, but for whatever reason the team didn’t always come together around him like they’ve done this year. In the 4th quarter of GT, Tech had a win probability of 89%. Illinois has a win probability of 79%. I don’t care what people say, he’s found a way to settle down and bring us two victories.
