Hard rain prior to game. Slightly soggy conditions.

How far do those wheels go in the grass before they bury themselves in the turf?

How many YouTube views will the video get of  a large group of people tugging on the bull to yank out the wheels then manhandle it back  into the tunnel? Oh the humanity!

Not saying it will happen but risk management is a real thing.

I still don’t see why we can’t do what Colorado and Texas does. Get a live animal. If we lose a lot of games under its watch we can always just cook it.

I'm biased on this discussion. I'm sure the live bull would be pretty cool, but I think it would rock for our engineering department to design, build, and maintain a robotic bull that runs around in the end zones, blows smoke, and makes an overly-obnoxious, pee-inducing, beastly yell when we score. Bonus if its eyes shoot friggin lasers.

Ultimately, the goal is for the bull (which doesn't yet have a name) to chug across the back of the north end zone (between tunnels A and B) after each USF touchdown.

beat me too it. I did read on that they do intend to also make it mechanized which would then make it really cool. I guess I read into it that they wanted to bring it across like this, which would be underwhelming in my opinion. Not knocking the kids, this is a great project I just don't feel it is finished and seeing stuff unfinished is underwhelming.

Or they could have it in the tunnel, again, immobile, with the eyes lit / smoke, and the team can run in and touch it or whatever, similar to Clemson's entrance with the rock

That would be a great use for it at this stage

I never got the impression it will be charging the end zone. The article stated it would come out the tunnel and that is all. Most people will not even see it.

Note sure how to properly quote articles, but the article states:

"Ultimately, the goal is for the bull (which doesn't yet have a name) to chug across the back of the north end zone (between tunnels A and B) after each USF touchdown."

I hear it can really run well across the grass.  😁

I’m just hoping to see titties on the Jumbotron again this year.  Should be a tradition after every Bulls touchdown.  We’d have no attendance problem, I assure you.

A year later and still can't believe I was looking down when that happened,  yes we would have 60k each game if that was the case.

I do agree with others I think the robot would be ok at like the plaza so kids or people could take pics with it but it would look cheesy if on the field.
