Ultimately, the goal is for the bull (which doesn't yet have a name) to chug across the back of the north end zone (between tunnels A and B) after each USF touchdown.

Yeah that is long term though. This thing they have now does not have that capability. My interpretation is that the one you quoted would be an upgrade on many levels. I still don’t see why we can’t do what Colorado and Texas does. Get a live animal. If we lose a lot of games under its watch we can always just cook it.

I believe the hang-up was that the athletic department deemed it was too large a liability to have a live mascot. They had a bull picked out and were ready to approve it as early as 2006.

Well it would seem if a few other schools could figure it we should have been able to. Instead we have a robot...which is fine but not like the real thing.

Thought it had something to do with not being an OCS.  TSA didn't want the liability.

Ahhh...yes that would make sense. So let me get this right...if we have an OCS we can fudge attendance numbers and have a real bull??? I am slowly starting to support an OCS sooner than later.

Strap a set of polished chrome bull nuts on this thing and we're good to go!
