Beat me to it. Every major sports website that I checked, including NCAA.com, uses South Florida. I imagine they'll use abbreviated versions where space dictates .... and couldn't you have found a better pic than that last one, although that appears to be pretty representative of their ass clown fans.

ESPN is hands down the largest sports information distributor and Google is the largest distributor of all information. I think the South Florida thing might be sneaking out to the masses.

 

 

Good point. The media reach is vital. On a related matter, I see ESPN is counting down the games of 2017. I think that last game will be in the top 4.

I just linked to the replay of the game so people could see and hear the usage throughout the broadcast.

They look good, but nothing special.  

For a while I think the Media guide said "we're USF, not South Florida."  With C. Going all-in in being UCF, it doesn't bother me that we seem to have accepted South Florida.

Yep. Completely unoriginal. Adidas really mailed it in on this one.

We were South Florida before we ever started feeling unsure of where that was and buckled into believing “USF” would be any clearer.

The commonality is the colors green and gold.  Quite common colors.  I wouldn’t get too upset about it.

Who cares what we look like? If we win looking ugly or cool, it's the win that matters!

When the games start, I don't think people will say, "Man we lost but we looked really good out there. Love the uniforms!"

I am getting used to these new unis. I think my all time favorite unis were the Nike years. I like white numbers on green jerseys outlined in black/gold. 

The first year with UA was good too, we went back to darker green, font change to the numbers but remaining white.

I REALLY DISLIKED the cream/beige numbers of the last couple of years. These Adidas unis are a definite improvement over last years in my opinion.

As for the South Florida / USF debate....I used to prefer USF, but I’m actually coming around to the South Florida thing now.
