No but odds are you're going to have some drop off from a DT that should be drafted, your all time tackler,  a guy like Hector who could consistently good pass rush from the DT spot (which is a rare bird in and of itself), and the leadership and play making ability of Nichols.  That's not even mentioning the best QB in program history.  If anything 9-3 could be considered optimistic....    

Like Tennesse had a drop off when Peyton Manning left? Oh wait they won the national title right after. Memphis loses a QB to the draft **** near every year and still does great. Our defense will be waaaaay better this year. Mark my words. You gotta think positive my friend

Um when were we ever "winning"? The past 2 years were the 1st time we ever had double digit wins. The rest of the years we averaged 8 wins or less. Therefore your statement is invalid. I think most fans have been let down so often that it will take at least 2 more winning seasons, a conference championship with a new years bowl victory or one season like UCF had to build our football culture again.

Our D is going to kick ass this year. They will be rested on almost every series. Our DB will especially be solid.
