Indeed, it has been a trying year.

Yes going 9-2, top ten offense and 328th ranked defense and playing a p5 team in a bowl game really sucked :)

Just watched a piece of the opening press conference on JK's twitter feed. Even though my better judgement tells me that this probably won't end well for him, you gotta love the enthusiasm Willie has for the game. I hope he crushes it - can't root against the guy.

Also, the Willie T bus is 100x better than that Taggart train bs that the noles came up with. That is all.

Playing a 6-6 P5 team, I hardly doubt that was anyone's goal going into the season. If someone told me before week 1 that we would be 9-2 and not beat a team with a winning record, and then head to Bham to play a 6-6 Texas Tech Squad I would have said that would be a failure.

I don't. We had kids burn us because xCWT moved and they got a better offer. Now xCWT gets a better off and burns them and I should feel bad?

kids need to sue for the right to transfer at will

it is absurd

i would love to recruit against taggart

3 schools in a year!

I have been trying to sort out how I feel about all of this. I keep coming back to the same thing. I can’t help but to be happy for Taggart and Leavitt. I always liked FSU. I loved Bobby Bowden.

I never liked Jimbo and still can’t stand Winston. He’s a scumbag. As a result I stopped liking FSU.

Willie Taggart set his goals high. He wants to be the first black head coach to win a National Championship. It would/will be a tremendous accomplishment. I am rooting for him to get it.

He will undoubtedly be the first coach to coach his team into the playoffs and jump ship in Mid December for the next best offer, however. More power to the man for getting his checks while he can.

At CWT FSU Presser he said" his program's 3 foundational tenets: 1) won't blame anyone, 2) no excuses, 3) "We're gonna go out and do something"

Comments after 2013 McNeese State game:

"This was my biggest nightmare," said Taggart, who opened his comments with an apology "to Bulls nation (for) a (very) poor effort from our guys.

"It was totally unexpected. We played a lot better than that throughout training camp. For me, just watching the game … we folded. We did not continue to play with great effort. We did have some guys that quit on us."
