It would be unethical for him to not put his loyalty to his family before others.  

His wife and kids were around long before Oregon and USF.

I agree with this. The timing is what makes it look so bad. Although it probably wouldn't have made a difference, there was no way that CWT would have thought the FSU job comes open this year when he accepted the Oregon one.... and kind of like Frost, this was probably the only job he leaves where he's at for.

2nd fun fact the writer of Animal House based the script on his exploits while at student here in New Hampshire (Dartmouth University).
