Well, to be fair they stopped Houston a few times in the second half but also allowed 28 points, compared to allowing zero in the first half. opponent scoring by half: opponent - 1st - 2nd Tulane - 7 - 21 Houston - 0 - 28 Now the defense was awesome against Temple and Cincy. And seemed to have a better second half than first in some of our earlier games. This loss was a game where both the offense and defense struggled, especially the offense, with the 30 points per game streak being busted. WRONG! They **** the bed. Last three drives they were one play from going off the field and sucked.

Boring ass runs up the middle don’t energize anyone. Offense sparks defense; defense inspires offense. And coaching sets the tone for both sides of the ball. This is downward spiral is on the coaching. Curtailing our offense puts a lot of pressure on the defense week in and week out.

When the defense made stops the offense just went 3 and out and put them right back on the field. Special teams gave up the kickoff that gave them the ball at midfield with around 1:45 which the defense responded pretty well until the 4th down play. Charlie should have called a timeout as soon as Houston lined up. Im wondering if Charlie lost faith in the fg unit and didn’t use them until he had to. The red zone offensive playcalling has been bad all year and finally got us tonight. Our best bet is uf Grabs Charlie and we go get an upcoming offensive coordinator and let him bring in an offense that isn’t power run happy

We always have problems with some QB torching our D.

All of this comes from our boring coach and playcalling.
