Best USF game since beating South Carolina

Okay, maybe I'm talking about the offense. Anyway, they are finally playing good football. Defensively, that's where I expected us to be.

If we are going places, we need this offense to lead the way, like they did today. Good job, everybody -including the OC.

 

 

Almost 4:00am. Time for some sleep. It was worth it, though.

Many would disagree. Defense can set the tone.

Defense wasn't very good today, especially the LB play.  Luckily ECU sucks.  Great to be 5-0 at the bye week.  Charlie and company have plenty to coach in the next 2 weeks

Back from game.  Quick note - I'm not sure the defense wasn't good today.  I think ECU watched a lot of film and exploited some of our defense's weaknesses which we pretty much corrected at halftime.  They actually may have done us a favor heading into the bye week to know what needs to be worked on.

ECU qb was impressive, he was taking a beating back there....he is a player

About the defense, don't forget Sands gave them 2 freebie first downs which gave them first downs and kept drives alive.  When he roughed the kicker on 4th down they converted it into a touchdown and changed complexity of game.  We would have routed them much sooner otherwise.  That play right there was a 14 point swing (they scored, and we would have scored if Sands doesn't commit penalty, seeing we scored just about every other possession).

Yeah most college qbs would fold we were getting good pressure he stood in pocket like a pro..he was impressive. 

If ECU had any defense they would be pretty decent.
