The bigs names have been rehashed over and over here. My question is how quickly do we make the hire? Harlan has had 3 months to work the landscape. Do we have to wait till the season over? The various conference championships are over or deep into the NCAA Tournament? Basketball, I think, is not like Football, where the coaches will bolt despite post season play. Heard it would be soon after the season. Now wasn't told whether that meant our season or the NCAA tournament.

Not sure I 'd say they never did anything. No championships or anything but Seth did a helluvalot better at Va Tech than he did here ..... just not enough to keep his job at a school with a little basketball tradition. The knights had some good prospects in today to watch them upset a ranked Cincy team.

Doubt there's anyone available who could qualify as an immediate home run hire .... or even a basketball equivalent of CCS. Hope is that whoever MH does get can be considered a home run hire 2 or 3 years from now.

I mean it's been so quiet on the rumor mill. (1) Keep current staff? (2) Bring in a retread and pay big money? (3) Bring in an upcoming coach? I will call this the bottom for our bball program. We can't go much lower!

With our history and the current players it seems like a death spiral for a coaching career. A smart young coach should be able to find a better gig elsewhere. A more well well known coach would most certainly balk at coming here unless they were getting ready to retire in Florida. As much as I would love to see a great hire I just am not holding high expectations
