Rose Bowl is ideal, can visit friends and family and hit Runyon a few times. My dog and i hiked it almost daily when we lived down there.

All that matters is they are ranked number 1...in our hearts. Great season and for once I'm not worried about rankings. We beat two P5's, we finished with 11 wins, and we have a few of the best players in the country. I'm going to enjoy this for a while and wherever they get ranked will be fine. We'll be the only AAC team ranked.

Having only one AAC team ranked isn't good for us even when we're the one.

The only thing that matters is "most compelling matchup". It is interesting that the first 3 years saw a rotation among the "second tier" NYD bowls.

It made sense for Boise to go to the Fiesta. Houston probably would have gone to the Cotton Bowl but it was hosting the playoffs.

If USF is sitting at 13-0 next season I would make a large wager they end up in Atlanta.

Atlanta hosts the NC game next year, won't that automatically exclude us or do they get a seperate game for the Peach?  Also the Cotton and Orange host playoff games.  To me it looks like the G5 winner will end up in AZ

The Peach Bowl is still it's own game regardless of the National Title game and will take place January 1, 2018. See you all in Atlanta!

Atlanta will be the best case scenario from the looks of it.  Easy car ride of 7-8 hours or short flight options and plenty of affordable places to stay!  Pumped for 2017 already!

Go Bulls!

Good god if we are playing in the Peach next year I will be all over that. My heart starts to beat faster just thinking about that. Ugh, I need to reminded we have 8 months until the first game though.

Not that at all.  It's the idea that if we don't go undefeated we should all be depressed.  This was the thought process we had a few years ago.  Every loss was a complete meltdown.

Then we found out that things could get a lot worse.

It will be great if we do undefeated.  But we don't need to have a complete meltdown if we lose a game, or three.

This board will go into complete meltdown if USF loses a game next year, on par with that of the late season meltdown of 2007.

Nobody else will care tho....

Yup, the meltdown will be worse too because of the preseason expectations.  If we lose 3 games next season I wouldn't be surprised to see the reactionary brigade turn on CCS.
