Seriously, if he had ANY affection for USF, he would AT LEAST let us hire a replacement for him without interference.

To influence Strong, you can imagine the crap coming out of dear Willie's mouth about USF and getting the hell out?  

Glad some could get in their 10 win lovefest before Willie did for Willie again. 

Taking recruits is much more heinous and he's doing that too.

Didn't even get a kiss on the cheek.

He's not actively pushing strong FWIW,  He's merely expressed that he would be interested in having Strong on staff if he's willing.  This isn't some kind of bidding war for Strong.....

This. I don't think people should be too pissed at Taggart. He knows he needs a good DC and one of the best in the country is currently unemployed, he'd be an idiot to not express interest and reach out. Let's not assume he's putting down USF or anything.

Why not?

I'm not saying he's going to lie or anything   What he sold people on before he will no doubt describe differently.  The shortcomings we had that he hid from recruits will now be out in the open in his renewed pursuit of them.

Oregon now owns his temporary allegiance.
