These seems like agent speak to me.. Why would strong go be a D-coordinator at Oregon? He's a Florida recruiter that had trouble recruiting in Texas. Why would it be any easier to do it at Oregon? I think that this is all rangling by Strong's agent to get more money out of USF.

agreed

Um.... He did not have trouble recruiting at Texas, best class in the Big 12 in 2015 and 2016. This would be a great move for Strong, worries me quite a bit.

Yea, this is pretty douchey.  I know he wants to be successful but he would be crippling our program.  I guess he never gave a **** about USF.  He is entitled to make this move but I am not so inclined to wish him well after this.

The offer should only be good while he is the building.

No shock WT will try to take some key recruits with him to ducktown and build the strongest (ahem) staff. I hope we can lock up Strong, should keep up our recruiting at a minimum and beef up our D.

Likewise...Willie could tell all sorts of tales out of class now to turn Charlie off of the gig.  Plus he might be able to match our offer for pay...

Guys. Don't be a CWT "hater"! He's just trying to take care of himself and his family - who wouldn't do the same? And crush the soul of the program that got you to the next level while doing it? Take our recruits and the coach we would like to hire to replace him? Congratulations to xCWT. I hope all of his P5/money dreams come true!

Seriously, if he had ANY affection for USF, he would AT LEAST let us hire a replacement for him without interference.

The moment he left he became competition. Time to wise up...

If I were Willie, I would crush us. He needs to hit the ground running there.
