Looking at 91 polls (currently), our average rank is #27, with two polls having us at #19 and another having us at #74.  It's interesting to look at all the different combinations of subjective, objective, and computer modeling out there.

We are right where we should be. From watching a lot of college football, our defense is really really bad. There are a lot of teams that would beat us.

Only 24, 28, or 33 according to some polls...:GoBulls:

31. USC (3-3)
30. North Carolina (4-2)
29. Pittsburgh (4-2)
28. TCU (4-2)
27. Western Michigan (6-0)
26. Georgia (3-2)
25. Arizona State (5-1)
24. Virginia Tech (4-1)
23. LSU (3-2)
22. Oklahoma (3-2)
21. Miami (4-1)
20. Oklahoma State (4-2)
19. Auburn (4-2)

17. Utah (5-1)
16. Wisconsin (4-1)
15. Arkansas (4-2)
14. Ole Miss (3-2)
13. Florida State (4-2)
12. Boise State (5-0)
11. Houston (5-1)

10. Nebraska (5-0) – Mike Riley’s Cornhuskers were off this past week and will play at Indiana next Saturday. In my latest Big Ten bowl projections, the Cornhuskers find themselves headed to the Orange Bowl.

9. Tennessee (5-1) – The Vols stormed back from being down 21 points at Texas A&M, but a seventh turnover ended the comeback bid in overtime.

8. Baylor (5-0) – The Bears had a bye week after last Saturday’s close win over Iowa State in Ames. Tougher tests loom as the Big 12 schedule cranks up.

7. Louisville (4-1) – The Cardinals had a bye week following their heartbreaking close loss last Saturday night to Clemson. Bobby Petrino’s squad hosts Duke on Friday evening.

6. Texas A&M (6-0) – Trevor Knight had a one-yard touchdown run in the second overtime to help the Aggies hold off another late Tennessee rally.

5. Washington (6-0) – Jake Browning threw for 304 yards and a school-record six touchdowns and ran for two more scores to help the Huskies snap a 12-game losing streak against Oregon.

4. Michigan (6-0) – Jabrill Peppers ran for a career-high two touchdowns and set up another score with a 63-yard run, as the Wolverines destroyed Rutgers 78-0.

3. Clemson (6-0) – Deshaun Watson threw four touchdown passes as the Tigers beat Boston College 56-10 on Friday night.

2. Ohio State (5-0) – J.T. Barrett ran for 137 yards and a touchdown and passed for another score as the Buckeyes beat Indiana 38-17.

1. Alabama (6-0) – Jalen Hurts recorded four touchdowns and Minkah Fitzpatrick had three interceptions as the Crimson Tide extended their FBS-best winning streak to 18 games with a 49-30 win over Arkansas.
